Design, Redesign and Content

After a week's worth of tweaking, I would consider the design of my site 'improved-interim'. Changes include title graphics, pop-up window sizes, link-hover colors, and some light bordering on the sidebar. I call this 'interim' because I had to get comfortable with how to use my stylesheets and tweak them, as well as inserting objects and getting them the right size. I intend to completely redesign the site in the future, rebuilding it from the ground up. That will take some time, but I feel I have a pretty good grasp on the technology now.

I want to add a randomly rotating list of music I'm listening to on the sidebar, and am learning a little about the scripting I'll need to know to do it. My initial foray into MySQL and PHP left me with a headache, so I should probably look into something less industrial-strength. On the other hand, I want to learn these languages, and I might as well apply what I learn to my site.

ANYWAY...I'll end this public service announcement and get back to work. Thanks for visiting, reading, and listening to me. More exciting stuff to come.
