Update: July 5 2003

Why haven't I done anything with this site for months? Honestly, I'm not as enthusiastic about it as I once was. I apologize to regular readers. Additionally I've been rather busy with a number of projects, including my first foray into professional web design (whatever that means...). I just finished building a site for a non-profit here in Portland and they're pretty happy with it, and I'm satisifed with the results too. What do you think? (by the way, I did not design any of the logos or images)

I learned alot this time around, and I feel pretty damn confident with my skills. Realizing that web content and design is changing constantly, my next move will be to learn some variety of server-side scripting language in preparation of adopting XML in the future. For now, I'm quite happy with XHTML and CSS. Simple, readable and clean-loading are my goals, unless the content demands a degree of flashiness that goes beyond the aforementioned web standards.

I was pretty thorough about checking cross-browser compatibility, but if anyone reading this could take a look at the site and leave comments (even if there are no errors) about their experience, that would be great. Make sure you list what browser (especially version) and OS you are using.

Again, don't expect any new posts anytime soon, especially this month.
